How do I track my lifts?

Simply log your major lifts (squat, deadlift, bench press, etc.) with weights and reps. The app automatically calculates your one-rep max estimates and tracks your progress over time.

What are strength ratios?

Strength ratios compare your performance across different lifts to identify imbalances. For example, your squat should typically be stronger than your bench press. The app highlights when ratios are outside ideal ranges.

How does the app detect imbalances?

The app analyzes your lift data against established strength standards and ratios used by coaches and athletes. When one lift is significantly weaker or stronger than expected, you'll receive insights and recommendations.

Is my data saved?

All your strength data is stored locally on your device. Your data is private and never leaves your phone. You can access your complete lift history at any time.

How do I update the app?

Updates are distributed through the App Store. Open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and scroll down to see available updates. You can also enable automatic updates in your device settings.

The app isn't working correctly. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  • Force close the app and reopen it
  • Restart your device
  • Check for app updates in the App Store
  • Ensure you're running iOS 18.6 or later
  • If issues persist, contact support below

Can I export my lifting data?

Currently, all data is stored locally on your device. Future updates may include export capabilities. Your data remains on your device even if you reinstall the app, as long as you maintain your iCloud backup.

What iOS version do I need?

Strength Balance requires iOS 18.6 or later. For the best experience, we recommend keeping your device updated to the latest iOS version.
